From the moment you arrive Crantock staff will do their very best to ensure that you have a happy stay. Most of their staff have worked there for many years and are well known for their friendly and helpful service. They have been accredited with the National Investors in People Award.
The spacious public rooms have breathtaking sea views and provide a choice of comfortable lounge areas for their guests. The private garden with sheltered sunbathing areas leads directly to the South West Coast Footpath and on to the wide sands of Crantock beach. With over a mile of golden sands, rock pools and caves to explore and the Atlantic ocean, this really is a paradise for beach lovers and surfers alike.
The hotel take great pride in researching and selecting high quality West Country produce for use in their kitchens. This includes the freshest fish from Newlyn, Crantock Bay shellfish, freshly reared Zelah beef, local cheeses, specially made Crantock Bay sausages, plus herbs and vegetables grown in seasonal rotation within half a mile of the hotel. With these first class ingredients their team produces imaginative and varied daily menus including some great vegetarian choices.
If you enjoy leisure and sports activities you will be spoilt for choice at the Hotel. Indoors they have their own ´Lobster Leisure´ complex where there is something for everyone to enjoy, with the lovely warm indoor pool heated to over 30°C, separate toddlers pool, spa bath, men´s sauna, table tennis room, bar billiards and well equipped gymnasium.
The majority of the bedrooms have spectacular sea views. For many of their visitors, this wonderful location where you can hear the sea, watch the most wonderful sunsets and if you are lucky see the dolphins swim across the bay, is a very special feature of their stay.
All 32 bedrooms are en-suite, with bath and shower and have complimentary toiletries, a direct dial telephone, a remote control colour TV, radio/alarm, hairdryer and hospitality trays including a wide choice of beverages replenished daily.
Rooms are double glazed and centrally heated. Fridges are available in family rooms and guest fridges are available on every floor with fresh milk for your convenience.
The room prices vary between rooms and time the of year. Prices start at £63.00 per person per night in low season and £112.00 in high season.
